As co-founders and former CEOs of a leading sail cargo company, over 15 years were spent building, operating and scaling one of the most ambitious decarbonisation projects in the maritime sector \u2014 from the first commercial voyages on existing sailing vessels to international development on their own fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>That hands-on experience \u2014 crossing the Atlantic under sail with real cargo, negotiating with shipowners, convincing shippers and raising funds in a market that didn&#8217;t yet exist \u2014 is the <\/em>foundation<em> of everything WindREAL does today.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>WindREAL was created to put that expertise to work. Whether an equipment manufacturer looking to enter the market, a shipowner exploring wind propulsion, a shipper seeking to <\/em>decarbonise their supply chain, or an institution looking for a credible voice on maritime transition \u2014 WindREAL brings the experience, the network and the conviction that wind is a serious answer to freight decarbonisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WindREAL is independent, sector-focused and built on one simple belief : the energy transition in maritime transport will not happen without wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no ships without the persons who can actually build them. The Phoenix class vessel generation, started in 2011, have a lot more to do.
